About Us

How it all started

In 2004, with great foresight, the Garforth Junior Football League asked its team mangers to try and provide a safe 3m coned off area back from the touchline, to help try and stop player intimidation from overzealous parents and supporters alike.

Realising that nothing was readily available to buy and that Cones and heavy & dangerous steel posts were not really the answer for use at pitch side, Darren Spencer Managing Director of Leeds based Touchline Logos Limited, set about ways of making a new barrier system for his own team, Colton Juniors FC and after several design prototypes and significant testing, the now legendry Logopost was created.

Now for the first time a Passively Safe (will collapse and re set if accentually fallen on) easy to use and light weight barrier system was now readily available. After registering the design with a Patent pending Number, word soon got around, and soon other local clubs were starting to use the Logopost barrier system for their own matches.

In 2010, the Football Association, aware of the growing reputation of Touchline Logos, and also aware of the need to
replace their troubled tape barrier system of the past, with a far superior safer and more reliable design, awarded sole FA approval and FA endorsement to Touchline Logos to provide its Logopost design for its ongoing FA Respect Programme.

This fantastic and very proud moment in the history of the company was soon followed by other significant achievements,
as Touchline Logos Limited also became the preferred barrier suppliers to the Football Association of Ireland and also to
the Rugby Football League. Its ongoing reputation for reliability and service, as also seen demand start to grow form the
US, Canada, and other associations across the world.

Touchline Logos Limited Today

In order to keep up with demand in 2011 Touchline Logos invested over 100,000 in stock, now held at its storage and distribution centre in the North West of England, and controlled from its Head Office in Leeds. This investment now means Touchline Logos can not only offer a safe and reliable portable pitch side barrier with full FA, FAI and RFL approvals and endorsements, but can also offer a quick and responsive delivery service, not only throughout the UK but now across the world.

Although the company has gone from strength to strength, Darren still finds time to be heavily involved with his local team at Colton Juniors along with helping out with coaching for the Wakefield Schools District team, and has been proud to produce many players who have since gone on to play for professional Academy teams.

The biggest drive for him and the company is to continue to help keep players of all ages interested in sport and developing a product that has helped promote Respect across all games, is one of his and the companies proudest moment to date.
